Summer Staff

At Center Lake Bible Camp, God has blessed us with a great location and facility; and we seek to do an excellent job of providing fun activities and experiences.  Our main goal however is to help kids start a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, and to grow in that relationship.

CLBC Summer Staff Requirements

The qualifications listed below are a goal for each staff person at Center Lake Bible Camp.  We know that as fallen people redeemed only by Christ that we will make mistakes and miss the mark.  It is our desire to grow in all areas of faith and in doing so we hold to these characteristics.  Each CLBC staff person will be:

• A growing Christian wanting to share their faith
• Flexible
• Team Player
• Compassionate
• Caring
• Teachable
• Honest
• someone that wants to go beyond what is required
• Someone with Integrity
• Someone willing to follow camp policy’s
• Must be a graduate of high school for all counselor and core staff positions

Because we work with students from the ages of 7-18 it is important that staff:

• Want campers to know Christ and grow in that relationship.
• Are willing to share faith with campers.
• Have a servant like attitude working with campers.
• Want to have tons of fun working, living, investing in kids.
• Hold to the statement that “Camp is for kids”.

Leadership Staff Position Involves: Supporting counselors, planning and leading activities, chapels, events, and more.

Counselor Position Involves: Building relationship with campers, caring for the campers basic needs, leading Bible study, helping with activities and games, Leading chapel and more. Click here for a PDF version of the job description.

Wrangler/Counselor position involves: Chores at the barn, assisting instructor in riding lessons, participating in evening campfire with campers, and much more! Click here to see the job description.

Head Wrangler/Ranch Instructor involves: instructing riding lessons, teacihing ground lessons, caring for campers and staff, and much more. See the full job description here. 

Video/Picture position involves: Taking still photos and video everyday, putting pictures on website, making camp video

Housekeeping position involves: Assisting other staff in keeping camp clean

Kitchen position involves: Assisting cooks with 2 meals a day, prep for next meal, clean up from meals, kitchen cleaning. 


As you consider applying for a job at CLBC, we want you to know that it is very important to us that you can commit to the entire summer. We know that life is often busy and some events cannot be helped, and these can be discussed on a case-by-case basis.

Please note that this application is for Summer Staff Positions who typically are a minimum of Seniors in high school at this current time.  If you are currently a freshman, sophmore, or a junior in high school you will need to go to the Summer Missions Team (SMT) page and fill out the application for being on the Summer Missions Team.
