Invest - Impact - Inspire
Each year dozens of families reach out to Center Lake asking for financial assistance to send their child to camp.
Through the generous giving of our faithful donors we are able to meet many of these requests.
While we would love for every camper in need to be able to attend week of camp at CLBC, this isn't always possible.
Why Camp:
[Why CLBC believes camp is important for every child]
Foster Independence
Camp allows children to be safe while experiencing independence from their parents or guardians and to try new things that aren't available in their everyday life.
Authentic Relationships
Campers will have older staff members pouring into them, having fun and caring for them. As parents/care givers we know there can't ever be too many adults loving our kids.
Create Memories
"My camper came home with so many stories to share of their time away at Camp. These stories will last a lifetime and encourage more experiences like those found at CLBC. "

Experience Nature
Kids these days spend less and less time in the great outdoors. Campers get access to all of CLBC's 120 acres including our BEAUTIFUL Center Lake!
Temporary Community
Everyone is "new" at camp. Camp staff meet the campers with no preconceived notions of who or how they are. This allows children to truly be themselves and challenges them to be who they were created to be.
Encounter Jesus
CLBC exists to point campers to Jesus. Whether it's the next step in their relationship with Christ or a step closer to a relationship. Campers leave having spent time in God's creation and His Word and are changed because of it.
