Year Round Staff/Positions

Center Lake Bible Camp (CLBC) is a Christian camp located in Tustin, MI. This is a rural area in beautiful northern Michigan. CLBC has a small year round staff and hosts weekend groups and retreats in the fall, winter and spring, and adds additional summer staff during youth camps. The desire of Center Lake Bible Camp is to provide quality camps and retreats that guests, campers and their families can feel safe, have fun, make great memories, and move one step closer to or in their relationship with Jesus Christ.

Marketing & Guest Services Manager

The Guest Services Manager will be the point of contact for all retreats. This position will include the planning of each retreat, which will include housing, food, programs, and any other items which may be required for a successful retreat. The position requires someone who is detail oriented, friendly, outgoing, self-motivated, and willing to go the extra mile for our guests. The position will also require some marketing of our camp, both for retreats and summer programs. The applicant will be proficient in all types of social media and be willing to visit churches, schools, or other businesses to promote camp. In the summer, the applicant must be willing to work with our overnight summer camp in a capacity they are most comfortable with.

This is a 12-month paid position with the possibility of housing.
Facilities Manager

The Facilities Manager is responsible for all maintenance and inspection aspects of the camp. We have over 20
buildings and the Manager should be proficient in the repair and care of electric, plumbing, HVAC, small
engines, landscaping, and construction. The Manager is also responsible for keeping all camp inspections up to date. The Manager is responsible for the cultivation and management of camp volunteers. This position requires one to be on call 24 hours a day, unless on vacation, and be willing to do whatever is necessary to keep the camp operational. 

This is a 12-month paid position with the possibility of housing.

The Intern is an entry level, paid position, including housing for someone considering camp ministry. This
position will expose you to all aspects of Center Lake, housekeeping, kitchen, office, programming, marketing, and retreats. It will also allow you to pursue multiple certifications including CPR, Lifeguard, High Adventure, and Serve Safe. 
Director of Outdoor Education

The Director of Outdoor Education will be responsible for the development of a new program using the
facilities of CLBC. With 130 acres and a large bog and Nature Center, the possibilities are endless for someone
with the right vision. The summer portion of this position will involve using the bog and Nature Center as part
of the summer programming. To develop this program, one must be willing to visit schools and promote the
program to public and private schools as well as homeschool groups. This is a 12-month paid position with the
possibility of housing.
